Panera Bread Company Compliment - Recent Visit To Your Store
JACKSONVILLE, FLORIDA -- I recently visited your store on Tuesday, August 07, 2001(12:30pm) to pickup a rather large order of sandwiches and salads for lunch. Of course being lunchtime Panera Bread was very busy and I'm sure extremely hectic and stressful for the employees. I approached one of your employees, Matt, to help me get and purchase my order. Matt greeted me with a smile and with such genuine kindness. He was very helpful in locating my order, ringing up my order - he also went out of his way to find extra napkins and utensils that had run out from the busy lunchtime. Matt even offered to help carry the large bags of sandwiches and salads to my car. It was such a great feeling to have someone treat you with such respect and kindness. It seems like these days every employee in customer service is full of anger, impatience and insolence. And Matt was just the opposite. Not to be cliché but Matt was a breath of fresh air and his good attitude definitely has encouraged me to continue having our company lunches catered by your Panera Bread Company.
I believe that your management team should reward Matt for his excellent customer service skills. Whether that reward be verbal or material. Thank you so much for your time and attention to this compliment. I hope your store continues to employee such exceptional individuals!
