First Garage Door Openers Complaint - Very Poor Customer Service

Review by John Tibbs on 2010-01-01
INDIANA -- I purchased and installed a circuit board for my garage door opener a little over a month ago. After installation, I noticed that the door would not close properly. A request for assistance from the company suggested that I purchase more products because "I doubt a new board would have these...problems". Then I was told to just call a repairman.

I then installed the circuit board on a different, working opener only to find the same problems. The company responded to their obviously defective product by telling me to send it back, informing me that there is a 30 day warranty (which after all of this I was no longer eligible for) and would be responsible for restocking and shipping charges; even though it didn't work to begin with.

I still have the defective product which I cannot return without paying a fee and now have to go and buy another one. If you need any garage products, find another company.

I would just buy another one and return the defective one.
