Priceline.com Complaint - BEWARE OF PRICELINE - On-Line Ticketing
BEWARE OF PRICELINE - Our son's trip was cancelled due to weather problems - At first Priceline kept telling us there was nothing they could do for a refund - after talking to United Airlines, I was told that they HAD TO REFUND us if the flight was cancelled. When I called Priceline back and told them this, they agreed. After many more hours on the phone with them being transferred and on hold, they deposited our money back into our account. But, they then withdrew $100 in error. They admitted it was in error, and that it would be redeposited in 1 business day. It has now been a week and we still don't have the $100.00 0that they erroneously withdrew from our account. In order to get any assistance, you have to be transferred to 3-4 different people and put on hold. Their customer service is TERRIBLE. You might think it is worth if because you get a cheaper ticket, but if you have any problem with them, then your nightmare begins. I hear that Orbitz can get you a ticket as cheap or cheaper and that their customer service is much better. I have spent 6-7 hours on the phone dealing with these people, and they still owe us $100 which they took out of our account by mistake.
