Kieth Pontiac Okotoks Complaint - Lack of customer service
OKOTOKS, ALBERTA CANADA -- In June of 2009 I returned a leased car to this dealership and bought a new car from them. Upon asking the sales person what would be required to repair on the leased car, he replied that the windshield would need to be replaced and that nothing else. We made the deal and left the dealership thinking all was good.
About 3 months later we received a letter from GMAC asking us to pay them $630.00 for the 4 tires that they replaced on our lease return. I called the phone # provided on the letter twice with no response. I forgot about the issue because no one returned my calls.
About 2 months later I received a letter and phone call from a collection company. I explained the issue to them and they supplied a GM customer service phone #. I called this # and spoke with a service representative who chose to support the dealership and not myself the customer.
I have reluctantly made a payment to the collection agency to keep my name clear of a bad credit rating.
Over 4 weeks ago, I have supplied an outside customer service research company all my information on this issue with no results to date.
I have been a loyal GM supporter for over 30 years and this will be my last GM car.
I agree with all of the other reviews published regarding GM and their lack of customer service. When will this company stand up to their promises and look after the customer and not their dealerships?
