Horchow Complaint - Poor Customer Care

IRVING, TEXAS -- This company has the worst customer service of any of the high end stores. Delivery dates are often wrong and the merchandises are not always of superior standard. My worst and last experience just occurred over the holidays. I ordered a black and gold mirror which was slated to be shipped by the vendor on Dec 16th and scheduled to arrive on Dec 24th. By Dec 29th, it was not delivered. After a series of phone calls and emails to their "customer care" service, I was first told conflicting information regarding the delivery date (ranging from 2-3 additional weeks)and later that it was my responsibility to call the carrier to find out what happened to my package. I finally spoke to the carrier (Pilot Freight)on Jan 9th and realized that my shipment was available for delivery since Dec 24 but that Horchow gave an incorrect and authorized number to the carrier. How bizarre is that? You would think that the customer care would have caught this mistake if they really placed an inquiry to the shipping company. I'll give Horchow a zero rating.

How do you know Pilot Freight isn't the liar? Or how do you know it isn't just an honest misunderstanding?
