Closeout island Complaint - DON'T DO IT - camera

Review by jaki stans on 2010-01-11
I was looking into the nikonD90 package $739. browsed the website, read the, about us pg.,privacy policy pg.,ect. couldn't find any info. about warranties. called customer service, I felt like a called the wrong number completely she said she knew the product but any ?'s I asked she was annoyed that I was asking. she said yes it comes with manufacturer warranty asking where on the website it says that that I would like to read bout it what the warranty covers, for how long, etc. Now shes more upset says "if you don't believe me fine, no order".i said calmly not that I don't believe you would just like to read more about it before I spend $739. Again "you don't believe me fine you don't buy". she then hung up. I was shocked I could not get any info. about the product, shipping, warranty. Apparently I was just supposed to take her word on everything & buy right away how dare I bother her with these ?'s, simple basic ?"s. by the way reading the privacy policy pg. over again I noticed TV's were only covered through their manufacturer warranty NOT cameras. Don't do it just because its cheap. what got me was I wasn't a complaining customer who had a problem with a product. I was a new customer just trying to get info. about a product & I'm so thankful that I asked ?'s & didn't go through closeout island. have a feeling I saved myself money & stress
