Chase Manhattan Bank Complaint - Do not Bank with Chase unless you want your money stolen
GARLAND, TEXAS -- I was not told that a service charge would be charged on savings accounts less than 300$. After withdrawing 11000$ from my savings, I left a balance of 100$....no one informed me that a minimum of 300$ was necessary or a 4$ per month charge would be incurred. I didn't look at my quarterly statement in Oct 09 due to circumstances but noted on my January statement that 24$ was withdrawn and hit the roof. I was not given any sympathy by the CHase bank. They returned 12$ to my account after 24 hour period and blew off the other 12$ ...mind you I earned a measley 6 cents of interest and had only opened my account the end of July..early August and this bank STOLE 12 dollars. Had I NOT put the money there in the first place I would not have had this problem....They really encourage you to trust them with YOUR money. NOT! Their service stinks...If you are in a hurry..do not go to this bank...they do everything in the world to slow down your banking experience by having you come back the next day or get frustrated enough to go elsewhere. I cannot state enough...DO NOT USE THIS BANK...the private banks of Texas have SO MUCH more SERVICE and CUSTOMER orientation that you cannot compare to CHase...Chase is big advertisement and low on customer satisfaction.
