My3cents.com - How to get insurance problem fixed

COLUMBUS OH, OHIO -- The co. had us put our insurance renewal on the computer this year well getting my first check I noticed that my short term long term disability was not on it. I called the insurance dept and was told I couldn't add it the time was up. as far as I no it was on the form I had to fill out they never sent us a copy of the insurance we signed up for so we new if it was right. we find out on our first check. now they say we have to wait till next year to add it on. I have had a kidney pancreas transplant and I need this on. How can I get it put on my deductions. I have never had to use it but I pay for it for 15yrs. why could't we have been given a chance to fix this we got no direction on even how to fill these forms out. Thank You for listening

That's something that you need to be asking your Human Resources contact. Typically, when benefits are elected on the computer, a confirmation is mailed and a window opens to correct any issues. Not sure how Bob Evans does it. Your HR folks would have that answer.
