Gateway Complaint - Don't Expect Customer Service From Gateway
UNKNOWN, CALIFORNIA -- It is actually ACER that now owns and supports Gateway....no longer people with B&W cows in the heartland who built the brand on GREAT LIFETIME SUPPORT. My current experience is very similar to last review: First they said I sent the incorrect serial number, that took 4 rounds of email followed by my sending photos of the serial number label, shipping label and invoice. Then they said they couldn't open the attached pictures. Finally, I resent a photo from my iPhone and copied the president of ACER. Then I got the product data sheet for the PC they had pretended wasn't a Gateway, but still did not get an answer to the question of how much total memory the motherboard would support. It's like dealing with an insurer who doesn't want to pay your claim!
