Homebrands.com Complaint - I Should Have Read Reviews Before Ordering From Homebrands.com
I ordered 3 Christmas presents from Homebrands.com. They were supposed to be in stock...my credit card was charged the day I ordered. When I never heard anything about them being on backorder, just an e-mail confirming the order, I started reading the reviews on this company. Their telephone number is no where to be found on the internet, but I found it on the e-mail confirming the order.
The representative told me that they were on backorder and I should have been notified. She also said there was no way my credit card had been charged when in fact it had been. I cancelled the order and was told the my card would be credited that day.
When it was not credited, I put in a dispute with Amex and they finally reversed the charge. Take my advice, I run a website and this is no way to do business. Needless to say, I did not have the items for Christmas!!!!
