Yard Card (TD Retail Card Services, TD Bank) Complaint - Terrible company to do business with! Stay away from Yard Card!
It is an absolute nightmare dealing with this company. First, they never sent my first statement... apparently they had the wrong address but continued to want to charge late penalties! I have the original contract and the address is correct, they however entered the wrong address.
One month I called to make a payment by phone, their phone payment system just "coincidentally" was out of service for several days before the due date, making me and probably many people's payments late.
They refused to lift the fees even though it was their fault for not providing a way to pay by the due date. It should not be a consumer's responsibility to maintain a company's payment system.
They have no online payment system (Yard Card), so you are forced to deal with their rude employees who are disrespectful and if your payment is late by a few days they go on a phone calling spree calling you constantly all hours of the day, even after telling them the check is in the mail, they continue to harass you.
Their statements are impossible to figure out, I have already paid this company thousands of dollars and barely any of it is going to the amount I owe.
I have never dealt with such a blatantly awful company in my life. When you call trying to seek assistance about a problem on your bill, they instead of listening will constantly harass you to make a payment over the phone and ignorantly ignore everything you say.
Stay away from this company, they are unethical and very disrespectful.
This is not a TD Bank checking/savings account and does not have the perks such as online bill pay. It is a Yard Card, visit their site, type "Yard Card" in any any search engine to find it.
