Overstock.com Complaint - Overstock not posting all negative reviews of products
I purchased a $1200 sofa less than a year ago, it started to fall apart within 6 months, but Overstock said they didn't have to do anything after 90 days (really poor considering the high value of purchase). I am very careful and have no children, but seats are broken entirely now, I plan to throw out the sofa when we move this spring.
More alarming than getting cheated on a purchase, Overstock did not allow my poor review of the sofa to be posted. I then noticed that they allowed only 2 negative reviews on the product to be public, both which seemed easy to discount. I believe they are deliberately not posting negative reviews. Do not trust their consumer reviews!! They did not include my negative report of a poor quality product, and my review was in no way inappropriate to post. I assume there were other negative reports about this product that they didn't allow to be posted and so I was tricked into buying this sofa by the very positive reviews Overstock claimed that most consumers posted online (4.6 overall star rating).
