Whirlpool - Recall cabrio F 1

I have a CabrioWTW6600SG2 purchased 3/22/08. Light use so I was surprized when F 1 started. I have also experienced "your model # doesn't qualify for any coverage" I didn't purchase x-ed warranty d/t light use. When calling be polite & ask for a supervisor as they are able to approve the parts/service in full. Do not accept NO & arm yourself with all the facts from internet postings. This is POWER TO THE PEOPLE. I am infinatly grateful to the internet & all the wonderful people who have posted to find a solution to this "F1" issue!
