Dish Network Informative - Increased Fees
Recently I choose to leave Dish Network as an employee. Not only are their customer surveys meant to harm good agents but is a terrible morale problem within the company.
The reason for this complaint as that most customers are getting ready to be slammed with higher fees - yes this is the way they are getting around saying they had a price increase this year. True, they are not changing their programming costs but are doubling the cost of the equipment. For example, a customer used to have one DVR fee of $5.98 for each DVR. Now they are changing it to $6 for the first DVR and each additional DVR will be $3 (that they are hiding in the additional outlet fee). When a customer used to have a $5 cost for a standard receiver and $7 for a high definiation receiver - now the consumer is being charged $7 for each TV!! This is also being said to be an additional outlet fee. No, we were told not to break down these costs for the customers, but my trainer actually told me to lie about the increased fees. This company is just untruthful to their clients and the agents are suppose to resolve their problems - and that is what 50% of their pay is bassed on, come on. Another 50% is based on average handle time when the call volume will increase during this fee changes and most of the customers will be irrate!! Dish does not stand behind their employees at all!! Glad I have found employment with an honest company.
Also, their technican visits, return labels are increasing. More rip-off from dish.
