Dr Drive Now Complaint - Exhaust leak/fumes

Review by tarantula on 2010-01-21
KINGMAN, ARIZONA -- Exhaust leak on Chevy van we bought at Dr Drive Now. Has an exhaust leak and we told them about it on a visit there to make a payment and we were told they knew it was leaking. Then why didn't they fix it. They never offered to help us with the problem. We feel they should fix the leak at their expense. we were never told it was leaking when we bought it. We smell it all the time, plus it is loud when we start it up. Who am I kidding they don't care. [The exhaust was leaking from time of purchase]

Might have had a better chance of getting it fixed when you noticed it at the time of purchase, before you actually signed for the vehicle.

Did you take the vehicle out for a test drive at least? First car?
You bought the car "as is" so hopefully you and this place can strike a deal over the repair costs.

if this was a used vehicle, then it is up to you for pre-purchase condition.

When I bought my used car, the dealer let me take it to a mechanic before I bought it
