Express Clothing Complaint - Wool sweaters fall apart prematurely even with appropriate care.

Review by scrtchmstj on 2010-01-21
COLUMBUS, OHIO -- I have been a big fan of Express clothing for a while now, however it seems like their sweaters are of very poor quality. I had purchased 3 wool sweaters from Express in the past. I treated the sweaters carefully as I have other wool sweaters but I noticed a hole after the first dry cleaning of one of the sweaters. Initially I thought the error to be the dry cleaners or just a fluke but the same thing has happened with my other two sweaters at different dry cleaning establishments.

by the time I had dry cleaned any of them, the return policy was void. Afterwards, I was stuck trying to find replacement sweaters that fit me just as well.

perhaps the dry cleaners machine snagged the item and created the hole? why not hand wash them at home?

To be honest, I have to agree with the OP regarding the quality of Express clothes lately, especially sweaters and knits. In the last 6-9 months, I have been disappointed in fading, stretching, seams coming apart, etc. I no longer shop this brand.
