Floral Arrangement - Complaint
I ordered an arangement of Flowers for my Daughter for the birth of my Grandson on Thursday and paid for the "Deluxe Arrangement" and same day delivery. I reveived and email later that day telling me that they were not able to deliver the flowers that day and would the next day be acceptable. I called and confirmed that wou, d be OK. The next day I got a call in the afternoon tellme their florist did not hav the arrangement I paid for and would an alternate be acceptable. At ths point I felt anythign is better than nothing so I sid yes and pelase get on ti because she was coming home from the hospital the nexct morning. Can you guess the bottom line ? The flowers were never delivered. I'm an embarrassed and frustrated Grand Dad. When I'm called an ambivelent cutomer service representative agreed to refund my money. Wow what a great and wonderful company (NOT)!
I'm not a letter writer by nature but I would never want anyone to experience what I just did and I'm going to work through local Florists directly from now on. I hope someone benefits from this information. It is 100% factual.

You realize this service does not deliver flowers right? They actually contact floral shops in the location you choose to have the flowers delivered for you. Kind of like you calling me, I call the floral shop and have the arrangement sent and you pay me for this service.
Now, there are disclosures on these websites about time constraints and floral availability. Did you read this? And you are unhappy they refunded your money when they couldn't deliver as promised?
If a missing floral arrangement makes you a bad Grandpa, then you clearly have issues that have nothing to do with flowers. Why not have the flowers delivered to the home? These days women do not stay in the hospital long after delivery. Having them sent to the house gives more time to fulfill the order in case problems arise and the new parents do not have to try to move alot coming home.
