Whirlpool washer bad product
Cabrio washer. - Complaint
So my husband and I purchased our washer and dryer pair a few months before our first tour in iraq. It broke twice before we even left for iraq. By the time we got back from Iraq our 1 year warranty with Whirlpool was up. They basically said tough luck. I mean seriously we were Iraq its not like calling them was on the bottom of our priority list, we just couldn't take care of it while we were deployed. Lowes came out and looked at it on a freebe maintenance check...and then it broke again. We were going to take it up with Lowes even further but we both deployed to Iraq again, this time for 15 months and by the time we got back from that deployment we figured it was so long after the purchase date that there was no use in even pursuing it. The washer basically defaults in the middle of almost every cycle in no particular pattern. It drives me crazy. Isnt there something called the "lemon law". Whirlpool told me this didn't apply for some reason. So annoying that we paid the money for this and have barely used it. We wash our clothes at a laundry mat. The response from the company is what is the most disappointing. Why would I purchase their products in the future when I know if the product as problems they won't fix it. I know we surpassed the year warranty but have some integrity for your product. If you put your name and seal of approval on a product you better back it up, no washer should be breaking only months after purchase.
