Jcp Fun Family Rewards Informative - You Have To Read Before You Agree

Review by saintrichardl on 2010-01-26
I have been reading a lot of complaints about fun family rewards. I used to work for the company that handles it for jcp. When you sign up for the membership through jcp.com you are asked if you would like to get 10.00 off of your purchase, if you select yes you wil be taken to a second screen and given specific information about what you are signing up for. And you will have to click yes 3 times before you are signed up. Don't come onto the Internet crying about how you were scamed when all you had to do is read befor you agree.

I will admit I don't see any value in the product, but its not a scam.

That's the same thing with anything... most people don't read and just click "proceed" or whatever 'til they get to the end of the rainbow. And, then; a couple of weeks later, they wonder why they're getting hit with a membership fee. People just don't read anything.

I agree, folks don't read those long, small print forms companies have them agree to. I am guilty myself.

But I would also think some companies are guilty of hiding details they really don't want to advertise deep within small print.
