Dakatabg from eBay Complaint - Fake Silver - Two Heavy Suppose To Be .925 Silver

Review by wjbrooksbro on 2010-01-26
MOUNT PROSPECT, ILLINOIS -- I purchased what was supposed to be. 925 silver chains for over 100 dollars, I found out later or too late that they were fake, only the clasps were silver. Their EBay name is "dakatabg", so beware of this seller; I tried to contact them several times, with no response. He contacted me saying he used to own a jewelry store and he knows silver, then why the jeweler that I talk it to put it on a magnet and it picked up both chains. Sorry that is not silver, if needed I could get name and statement of that jeweler..

He wrote"The chains weren't fake. They just need to be polished good! Go to a jewelry store and check them! I used to own a jewelry store and I know what fake silver is!

Ebay has a new program that they just rolled out protecting the buyer if the item is not as described. File a complaint with them and they will be able to get you a refund. Also, if you paid via Paypal, you can try to get a refund from them.
Remember, as a buyer you have more rights on Ebay than the seller does. Ebay protects their buyers.
