T-Mobile Complaint - Poor Cell and Customer Service
First I must say that up until today I have had good service. Here's what happened, I started shopping for a new home and realized as I drove around with my wife that Googles maps would not work. I checked and found out that I had one bar and no data 3g or edge. I called the customer service and sat on the side of the road as the tech ran me through a bunch of hoops. Check this and that, restart a couple of things. My wife has the same phone so we worked on the settings on hers, but nothing helped. She said she would turn in a service request. As the week past I had no problems but found out I lived and worked near the one and only T-Mobile tower in Vero Beach and of course my reception was good. It was when I would go house shopping that the reception problem would show up. I called the customer service again and gave them the area that I was going to lease a home and told them that there was no reception in the home and 1 bar outside the home and limited if not o data outside. The representative said he would put in a new request and call me a week later. He did not call and when I called I was told by a new (no 3) representative and that the records show that they could find no problems but they would put in another request! I said NO, what difference would that make and I told him to get a supervisor. He came back and said the supervisor told me to move in and then call back. I told him that was stupid and ask to speak to the supervisor. He gets on the phone and tells me that I need to go to the house and call him from someone else's cell phone. I told him that was stupid, I have 2 Mytouch phones and both get no reception, then he tells me that he's going to send me 2 new phones and that would solve my problem! How I asked, what are the possibilities of 2 phones (one just replaced weeks earlier) going bad at the same time. He tells me that he was 99.5% sure. I disagreed and asked to talk to his supervisor, none of which were available, all in meetings outside the building. So I now have two new phones coming and no solution in sight. I did check for networks and AT&T was the only one that showed up in the house. Found out AT&T has 5 towers in my area and T-Mobile has 1 according to Mobiledia. I have been checking networks when ever I lose T-Mobile and AT&T always seems to there, inside Lowes, Publix and various other stores I couldn't get service. I will end up canceling my service with T-Mobile and it will cost me a lot. No help from T-Mobile!
