Priceline.com Complaint - Hotel rating not true
Priceline 4 stars hotels are not a true picture of what reviews says. I named my own price on a 4 stars hotel in a chosen area. When I received my confirmation with the hotel name, I reviewed the comments on the internet about the hotel; the reviews are awful! Everywhere, people that stayed at that hotel commented on the poor overall conditions of the hotel. After calling Priceline.com and explaining to them that all over the internet, the comments were very bad, especially for a 4 stars hotel, they did not want to help in any way at all. Customer service is poor. I will never use this Priceline ever. What they are advertising as a 4 stars hotel do not meet the qualities of a 4 stars hotel. When choosing a 4 stars hotel, you expect cleanliness. The pictures on tripadvisor were disgusting but even after telling Priceline customer service agent, they did say that it was still rated a 4 stars.
Well, I guess their rating needs to be reevaluate. I do understand the rules but sometimes a company should be bending them to keep their business and their good names. I did not invent the comments and reviews by other travelers on the internet. I just happened to find them and read them. Maybe that hotel was once a 4 stars hotel, but things changed and things should be reevaluate to present a true picture to the customers.
