Bank of America Complaint - Trying to Get Closed
SCOTT DEPOT, WEST VIRGINIA -- Oh yes, my story is true. I have 2 sets of loan paperwork.
My first closing was to be on October 29, 2009 according to my Insurance Agent. Bank of America harassed my Insurance Agent to hurry up and get the information to him so we could get closed on time. Then closing was moved to the next day October 30, 2009, but as I was going to the bank to get my Cashier's Check, I was phoned by my Realtor that the basement didn't pass FHA. This had been such a done deal, that the utilities had already been changed, the house was covered by insurance and I had rented a moving van that was half loaded. Now, this information had to be known before 45 minutes before closing! My local BOA Agent was out of town that week, and when he got back the next week, he tried to tell me that the BOA office had not scheduled a closing. Funny then that my Insurance Agent knew before me when my closing was, and I was in contact with the Attorneys office all day on October 30 about what I needed before showing up at there office.
It is now the evening of January 28, 2010 (3 months later) and I'm told we can't close tomorrow because the closing paperwork from last October has my Realtor as the buyer! All this time and my Realtor is the buyer? So, my Bank of America Loan Agent can't tell me when we will close now because the closing package needs to be changed to have me as the buyer. Well, I can type. Let me do it.
