Wells Fargo & Company Informative - Suing Wells Fargo in Small Claims Court
I got about 304 phone calls from Wells Fargo over a disputed seventy-eight dollars. I sent them a certified letter telling them to stop calling; they called eight time after receiving the letter. Both of the above are against the law under the federal statutes and also the California Ronsenthal Act. In California, if a company or person are found guilty, then you get damages on both statutes. Wells Fargo settled out of court for three thousand dollars.
I had written a letter to the president of Wells Fargo and the district manager for the Sacramento area, as well as the Customer Service Manager complaining about the first 82 calls think they would care and do something about it....THEY DON'T CARE.
If enough of us sue and win, maybe they will start to care, because everybody understands money and the lack of.
