I purchased a Ge Profile dishwasher 15 months back and now the door will not open. The first unit was installed and the leaked immediately and had to be replace. The second unit would not turn on after a few months. A service technician came out and looked at the unit ordered a new latch switch and came back weeks later only to get the unit working without installing the part. He left the park with us so that it could be installed later if necessary. Then the warranty expired and the problem came back. I then installed the switch that was left with us by the service technician with information I found online. Now a few months later the dishwasher door will not open and GE says they will send someone out and look at it for a fee. My wife and I only want our dishes out of it.
