Home Depot Complaint - Home depot non customer service
SHOW LOW -- ON Jan 13th I had materials stolen from a job site by the customer and returned to Home Depot. I was called by the pick up driver to be sure I would be there for the pick up. I immediately called the Home Depot and told them what was happening and was assured it would be ok since they would credit it back to the card it was purchased on, Having been told that I relaxed and just waited. after a week with no credit on my account I called Home Depot and was told that a gift card of 900.00 dollars was given to the person who returned my materials (not me or my agent). I was told then that I was not the original purchaser so that's why. But its funny I am still paying the bill. I called customer service and over a 4 week period was lied to and mislead only one person out of 9 returned a phone call after I was told they would call me. I was given answers that made no sense and in the end was told to bad for you. When I would request to speak to a higher level person I was denied and told that it had gone as far as it was going to. This is not the kind of customer service I would expect from Home depot but then again I never really had an issue before. So in the end I am out 900.00 because someone at Home Depot made a mistake and then covered it up. I will never again shop at Home Depot. not will I pay the balance on my Home Depot credit cards. At least there is a Lowe's across the street and they act like my business matters.
