Staples Complaint - Staples return policy fraud
FRAMINGHAM, MASSACHUSETTS -- Bought laptop from Staples, about week later noticed minute line on top
screen. Called store they said I had to deal with factory, called factory Dell said it would take 3 to 4 weeks or more to fix or replace. Called Staples corporate explained they sent me letter stating the store would take back the computer this is after weeks of E mailing and calling and filling complaints with different gov and priv organisation's. By now the little line is a longer line and a blotch. I take laptop to store and one employee looks at it and decides I dropped the computer and cracked the screen. Well there is not 1 scratch or dent on the computer. After going over many, many complaints I realize that the whole thing is that they try to push the extended warranty which is crap but cost almost half what the computer cost. No extended warranty be ready for hell even they advertise full refund before 14 days no questions asked. The only way WE the people who keep them in business can get fairness is to stop giving them our money and keep posting so others do not have to go thru what we went.
