GMAC Insurance Complaint - GMAC Insurance - won't pay on claim - 4 months - Auto Insurance
Auto Insurance - Complaint
My car was hit and totaled by a GMAC insurance customer. GMAC accepted full liability for the accident, but after 4 months continues to make excuse after excuse for why they "cannot release payment" on the claim. It has become clear that they are simply stalling to avoid making payment as all required steps have been completed, forms signed, etc.

Call your insurance company and have them get involved on your behalf. This is part of the service you are paying for. As the accident is not your fault, this should have no impact on your rates.
Perhaps your insurance company can break GMAC's wallet loose.
