Smithfield/Milano's Informative - Milano's Italian Grille Lasagna

Review by bigjohn756 on 2010-02-07
This stuff is terrible. It is mushy and bland. Plus, the packaging might be considered to be fraudulent in appearance. It measures 8.5" X 6.5" X 2.5" on the outside, but the actual product container hidden on the inside is only about 6'5" X 5" X 2". I guess that if you have never had lasagna in real life then you might find this stuff to be acceptable. I don't.

Oh good grief. Double posting, for the win. As stated previously, the item is 20 ounces. The leading competitor is 21 ounces. READ READ READ

Op, thank you for sharing. We got it the first time you posted it.

Sounds disgusting anyway.

I picked up a package of this at Walmart a few months back. I do remember the package looking large (but seemed pretty light-weight), and when you take the wrapping off, you discover the lasagna is actually a smaller tray inside a bigger one. I felt a little miffed about that. And as far as taste, it was "ok", not the greatest but not the worst. The best quality grocery store lasagna would definitely have to be Michael Angelo's.
