T-Mobile Compliment - Actually had a positive experience
While I was out of town this weekend, I tried to call my husband at home at our T-Mobile @ Home number. For some reason, it switched directly to voicemail. Later, when I talked to him on his cell phone, he said that both phones were charged and that the internet was in working order. I put the problem out of my mind until I returned home this evening and I decided to order Chinese. I dialed the number, had a dial tone and everything, but instead of it ringing, I heard...nothing. No clicks, no beeps, nada. So, I pulled out my cell and called customer service. The CSR (I can't remember her name) was very friendly and helpful. I told her that I had already checked and everything was lit up on the router that was supposed to light up. She checked the system and it turns out that the software needed an update. So, I unplugged the router and modem, reconnected everything and rebooted my PC. Three seconds later, the phone rang (it was the Chinese place) and everything was working again. While I was on the phone, I found out that for some reason, my husband wasn't listed as authorized to receive account info, so I had him put on there, too. I know a lot of people on here harp on T-Mobile, but I have never had anything but positive experiences on the rare occasions that I've needed customer service. Actually, they're one of the few companies that I've called for service and get to speak to someone for whom English is a first language. Say what you want, I'm sticking with T-Mobile for now :).
