Ashley Furniture Complaint - Ashley furniture not getting my business
BURLINGTON, NORTH CAROLINA -- I first wanted to thank everyone for their comments. I was only going to right a complaint about a certain store and move my business to the greensboro location. Reading these comments has made me realize that poor furniture and service is a recurring event. I walked into a very well put together establishment but the service was horrible. I'm a very easy customer I walk around see what I like and purchase it. So it didn't bother me that much not having someone ask if I needed assitance. As I decided on a bedroom set I wanted to buy I walked up to the sales counter expecting to get service quickly since I was the only one at the counter. The two employees were looking for something walking back and forth and didn't say one word to me(great job). I finally had to ask an employee that was helping a customer if she was the only one on the floor. She pointed at one of the two employees behind the counter and asked if anyone has help me. I stated no and ask her a question about the bed frame that was in intrest. She answered it and said someone would be with me shortly. As I waited someone walked in and the employee behind the counter walk up to them and ask if they needed any help. I had been in this store for well over 30 min and never had anyone say a word to me. I walked out... Called later to get a main office number and no one could find it(Thats real professional)... Thx Ashley furniture for turning a cash customer away.
