Priceline.com Complaint - Priceline policies - not so customer friendly
Before starting my travels I reserved a rental car at my destination through Priceline. I got collision damage insurance through Priceline, which was charged to my card right away. When I got to my destination, I ended up not picking up the car (forgot my license at home...stupid I know). Priceline wouldn't refund me the collision insurance, even though I never even picked up a car. Their policy is that you have to cancel the reservation several hours in advance to get your money back. They offer nothing for unexpected cancellations like mine.
Seems like a great way to take advantage of people - charge them for services you're not even providing. Thanks Priceline, I wasn't under enough stress from having to find my way around a new city with no car.
