Cronic Jeep Griffin GA 30223 Complaint - Poor service on a 2006 Jeep Wrangler

Review by rr1966 on 2010-02-10
GRIFFIN, GEORGIA -- I have been dealing with this dealership since November 29, 2007. Have taken the Jeep back for the same thing repeatedly. They have replaced the AC control head 4 times, when asked by resolutions person about the AC problems they only claimed the knobs keep breaking. The last two times this vehicle was in for repair, I asked WHY this keeps breaking down, we don't know was their answer. Replaced seal around windshield, did a sloppy job and it is falling down again, failed to fix this the last time it was in shop although it was on the repair order. Turn signals have been replaced 2 times, although this is a mail delivery vehicle, built and sold as a mail delivery vehicle, it is equipped with strobe lights and the flashers are not used during delivery...why does this keep tearing up...we don't know. Door handle was coming loose, did a sloppy job fixing it and it is messed up again. Vehicle door attachment that holds strap was messed up while at shop, when asked about this, they didn't mess it up and know nothing about it. Was not messed up when it went in for service. Transmission went out less than 1000 miles out of warranty(36K), although they had previously checked the transmission two times for trouble at my request, they found nothing. Chrysler should have reimbursed me for the money I spent on a new transmission, however they do not feel that they should because I did not take it back to a dealer shop who has done nothing right yet to repair. I have received poor service from this dealership and this company and they refused to stand up and admit they have made a product that is no good, and pay the repair bills. Everything is blamed on the fact that this vehicle is used for mail delivery, although it was sold for this. They should have acted in a responsible manner and taken care of this matter, instead they choose to lie about the repairs and act as if they have went to great lengths to repair my vehicle and this is very untrue. Jeep Owners beware, taking your vehicle to this location could cost you big time! If I had confidence in a Chrysler Product before, I don't anymore. To bad we had to bail them out, should have let them fall...of course they will do this on their own with service like this.
