Bansfield Pet hospital at Petmart Complaint - Bansfield a death camp for dogs

Review by ToriS on 2010-02-12
Bansfield gave me a 2pm appointment time. took two emergency dogs and had my dog lay in pain. Then ran some inconclusive test sent me home with pepcid and said good luck. Then my dog started to pass blood so I returned and then the said the it would be $3000 to fix him as he had 3 or 4 problems not completely explained to me and then shoved a waiver of rights under me to sign which I thought was a form to put my dog to sleep. NOT They used him to practice surgery, chemo, whatever and keep my dog to sell. Wouldn't talk with me. They did tell my that my other dog could have something contagious. This company is FILLED WITH HEARTLESS THUGS DISCUSIGES AS LOWLIFE VETERNARIAN.

sorry for the issues with your dog - its tough when the dog you love is in that position. The waiver just basically lets you know the potential cost and that it is not a guarantee of success. THink about being a vet - you have to diagnose a treat a being that cant tell you where it hurts or how it feels. We are lucky to have vets

I'm not a bit surprised by this, but I am heartbroken for you. If animals were considered as important as people, Banfield might be out of business by now. How much money did they get you for?

I would have gone to an independent veterinarian or animal hospital rather than a chain clinic inside a Petsmart. I remember when I had to have my cat put to sleep-she was 17. It was an emotionally wrenching decision for me since that cat was like family. To be treated that way by a vet has got to be just as emotionally wrenching. Very sad.
