Atlantis Health Plan Compliment - Very satisfied with Atlantis Health Plan - Medical Care
Medical Care - Compliment
NEW YORK, NEW YORK -- The best way to use Atlantis is to go to one of their "clinics." They have one in each borough of NYC. I go to the one in the Garment District of Manhattan. The offices and exam rooms and clean, bright, and well-maintained. The staff is friendly and helpful. The place is very well run. They tend to many different medical needs. I've had a gyn check-up, had a mole removed, and a breast sonogram and they offer physical therapy, etc., etc.
I met the founder of Atlantis, who is one of my doctors. He is trying to provide health care for people like me who are not covered by their job.
An added plus is that I get 3 out of my 4 meds for free through the clinic. I get a 3-month supply and when I'm running low, I call the clinic and a refill is mailed to me.
One thing that really impresses me is their organization. I was sent for a mammogram, which turned out to be inconclusive. When I called the clinic about something else, I was told that while they had me on the phone, how about scheduling a sonogram as a follow up to the inconclusive mammogram. Imagine that? I can't tell you how impressed I was by that.
Atlantis was a great find. So far, I have no complaints and nothing but praise.

Im looking in to Atlantis as a health insurance plan, this review helped, as i've read all the other negatives about this plan but it seems to be mainly about pre-existing conditions, which to my knowledge i have none.

You know you've watched too much Sci-Fi when you wonder if (or hope that!) the insurance company sends you through the 'gate for medical treatment.
And you can't decide if you'd prefer Beckett or Kelly (blond kaylee!) as your doctor...
