Sullivan Toyota of Wichita Falls TX Complaint - Misrepresentation - Used cars

Review by Taken by Sullivan Toyota on 2010-02-13
WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS -- Entered into an agreement to purchase an used car. The car was represented as "excellent" condition. I specifically asked for details on ANY minor imperfections as I was traveling from a great distance to purchase the vehicle.

As it turns out the car was a piece of garbage that had originally been produced for use outside the US. The dealership was difficult to deal with and instead of refunding my deposit actually charged me double the original. I did recoup this money after two weeks of waiting but the dealership was unwilling to reasonably negotiate making me whole on my expenses.

If Sullivan Toyota feels that the vehicle I viewed was in excellent condition, I would be worried about there ability to effectively recognize condition and would stear clear of sales or service.

So, I'm guessing this is what the apology references? If so, that's a nice gesture.
