Juniper Bank Complaint - Fees - late charges
I had a balance of $399.42 and paid $400 on my account. The following month my statement showed a $39.95 late fee with a finance change attached. I called and asked, as a courtesy, if they would reverse this fee;since I had always paid way above my minimun and have never been late in 3 yrs. I was told they wouldn't reverse it and I was responsible for this balance. I refused to pay and spoke to a supervisor. Same senario. A lot of BS. February's bill is now $133.49 all late fees and finance charges. The same BS just a different foreigner in another country that could give 2 cents less about me tells me; "as a courtesy, I will only make you pay $49 of the balance" I said if you you would have done that in December we wouldn't be having this conversation. She said sorry but its now or not at all. I unfortunately paid it, cause my credit report shows me as LATE (grrrrrrrrrrr) I tell you what everyone will know about this experience and I hope NO ONE opens an account with them. BTW I also wrote to their corporate offices, don't know if it will help but its not a pretty letter!
