Cabela's Complaint - Cabel'a cancelled my Cabela's Visa
Complaint
I recently received a letter from Cabela's stating they had cancelled my Cabela's Visa. I called and was told that since my credit score was under 700 I no longer qualified for the card. Seems to me they didn't care about my credit score when they gave me the card, or when I was making my payment on it. Especially when they waited for me to pay the card off to cancell it. I have never been one day late and have maxed it out and paid it off more times than I can count. They said given the state of the economy I was considered a risk of not paying it off. I wonder how many other loyal customers who uphold their obligations are being treated this way. The customer service reps, and they were of no service, basically blew me off and said tough luck. I guess they are just another bank out for themselves... Stay away from this card!!
