Alltel Complaint - Complaint same as others
I have been with Alltel for 3 years. My job took me to a location that did not have service. I figured this temp job was only going to last a couple of months so just leave well enough alone. On the 6th month of no service the position became no longer temp. I informed them their was no service, the man on the phone said he agreed. However after they sent a representative with his little tester to my sight (now a month has pasted)it was determined "no Service." Now that I have the repr's approval I call Alltel again and they say nope you are breaking the contract so it will cost you $200. dollars. At this point Alltel say I will send "at no charge a booster" to see if that fixes the problem. I said if that is what you need to do then do it. At the same time I told him I will keep the phone and service since my contrat will expire a few months from now and it is less than the 200.00. I reduced my service to the lowest possible and thought that was the end.
Two months later after the booster was delivered which never left the box and I had moved again. Wonderful Alltel steals from my checking acct. 495.00 for the booster. Now that is another story and just as good a customer service from Alltel
When I am out of this contract I will never use them or Verizon again. When I saw this site on the internet I knew I had to respond. I hope it does someone good. Also do not allow anyone access to your checking account they will rip you off.
