Now Express Compliment - Great! - Clinic

Review by Jennifer on 2010-02-16
MINNESOTA -- So it's Monday night, and I'm leaving work when my husband calls to tell me my son started complaining about his ear hurting-grrrr. He's 14...I thought this was over. But anyway...

Our normal clinic had no appointments for the evening which means-you guessed it-urgent care. And that means-you guessed it again-a huge@** copay. I looked at my insurance card and the copay for these little retail clinics is about 1/3 of the urgent care copay. I had to go grocery shopping anyway, so we took him to Now Express in the grocery store.

We were in and out in 10 minutes with a script which we filled while we shopped. They were friendly, fast and asked my kid about what was going on, which I like because, at 6'2" and 14 years old, he should be able to answer questions all by himself.

I know that can't do triple bypasses or deliver babies there, but for these minor things, I'd use them again in a heartbeat. I saved myself at least $20 and 2 hours, plus I got my groceries.

Me, too, Inat. I don't know why I never thought of using one before.

Around these parts the people call them doc-in-the-boxes. Myself, I call them convenient.

Good review skelly39!
