Time Warner Cable Complaint - Think Twice Before Singing Up With Time Warner - Tricky Service
CAROL STREAM, ILLINOIS -- I am so sorry that I signed a two year contract with Time Warner Cable. I should have stayed with AT & T. Time Warner is not regulated by anyone, because the government feels that Internet Cable is a luxury. I use it for business and for survival as many others do.
When you sign up for Time Warner Cable, they never tell you that they bill one month in advance, so if you don't have a double payment when you sign up, expect late payments each and every month, or face disconnection. Even their late payments have gone up to $7.00 per month. This company is making money hand over fist.
I have had so many problems with Time Warner it isn't funny. When I signed up with them, the techs came in and disconnected all of my computers, because they said they do not specialize in routers. Time WArner paralyzed me and to this day, 5 of my computers are not working with the Internet. I'm stuck with them for two years and have had my service disconnected briefly, because of their bizarre billing. When I called to make my payment, the collector laughed, because she knew that Time Warner had me right where they wanted me.
Once my two year contract is up, I'm out of there and I'll gladly go back to AT & T which I had for over 30 years.
Don't make the mistake I did and go with Time Warner, or you will be crying your eyes out monthly. I pay $117.58 for high speed Road Runner and phone and that does not include TV cable (I have no TV cable). When I first signed up, I was told my bill would be $84.00, but then Time Warner was not able to fulfill my request with a program I use called GoToMeeting, so I had to add on unlimited long distant calling in order to give online Webinars - what a joke. They blamed it on GoToMeeting.
This has been one huge disaster and there is no way I can get out of this except to do my time and wait.
