Travelocity Complaint - Never EVER again
I have used Travelocity for years without incident. I tried to book a flight and when it got to the confirm payment page, I received an error message. I tried again, same message. I thought I'd come back later since maybe there was a computer glitch, but something told me to check my bank account. Sure enough, the charge was there for the flight, but I received no confirmation of the flight. I called Travelocity and they had no record of my flight. I called US Airways and they had no record of my flight. Neither company would agree to write a letter or make a phone call to my bank. My bank will not drop the pending hold on my account for 7 days. By that time, flights will have gone up and I will not be able to afford to book a flight.
I talked to 7 people in a circuitous let's see how many people we can send her to loop over three hours and none would help me.
Since I wrote this, I just received an email from Travelocity telling me to call customer service to get the issue resolved, even though my initial email to them told them that I had already called and no one would help me.
