Citi Mortgage Complaint - Remodication of my mortgage

Review by DbSndy on 2010-02-18
FREDERICKM,, MARYLAND -- About 9 months ago I requested a modification of my mortgage loan. I sent all requesting documents to the company as requested. Each time they would call and say that I was missing a document that I completed several times which was a form requesting income taxes. I completed the form again and sent it back. A month would go by and I would receive a call saying that the WT4506T was not completed not completed/received, so I would ask what information was missing and could they assist me in completing this form. I would complete the form with the Citi Mortgage modification personnel and again I would receive a call a month later saying the information was not received. I called again and completed this document literally about 20 times and they still kept telling it was missing information even after I called to see if the information was OK and was told yes it was. On 2/16/10 I received a call from Citi Mortgage requesting the same information that I sent to them several times. I am frustrated because I don't want to loose my home because they are playing games with this information. I complied each time they requested the same document over and over and still it was not completed correctly. To me something is going on and I need your immediately rectifying this issue. My loan number is 0153472881.

It would seem pretty obvious at this point they have no intention of helping you. It appears they are waiting for things to get worse for you and adding penalties to your problems. Try a different lender.
