Dish Network Complaint - Horrible customer service
I had Dish installed in November of 2009. When they installed the service somehow the installer reset the convergence on my TV. I called Dish and told them. They sent out a new receiver and told me to return the old receiver, which I did. I waited 2 months for them to "test" the returned receiver, and surprisingly they found nothing wrong with it. I had to call and have them tell me they denied my claim of damage to my TV. They not only broke my TV, they won't do anything about it and closed the claim. Nice, I wish I had chosen to have Direct TV installed instead of Dish Network. I had DirecTV before we moved and decided to give Dish a try since they were running a special. I guess you get what you pay for. When my contract with them is over, you can bet I'll be ripping out dish and having Direct TV installed. They do not stand behind their products and don't really care if they damage your equipment installing their equipment. I also had to rerun some of the wiring installed to one of our TV's. The tech had just stuffed the wire thru the back of the cabinet rather than routing thru the already existing service route.
