Evergreat Smiles Complaint - Unauthorized money taken from my checking accout

I was doing my checking account statement this month and came across a debit for $158.27. It was not authorized by me. I went into the internet and got two phone numbers for this company. Both phones are "temporarily disconnected, please call later". I have tried both later and no answer, just the same tape message. I looked on the internet and came across the place called "Complaints Board" and found the same complaint from another lady. So far I cannot find anyone to talk to about this. I have been to the bank and they are no help.

You *can* dispute the charge with your bank.
I don't know what help you think the bank is going to give you other than looking at your account on their end and seeing exactly what you see... the charge, when it was made, and if there's a number to call to see who or what this place is.

Have you been visiting websites, recently, that have asked for your bank account information to receive something for free?

How did they get your bank account information? Did you sign up for a free sample from them, such as Hydroxycut or Enzyte or freecreditreport.com? All of these require a credit or debit card, supposedly just for the shipping charge. What the fine print actually says is that the free sample is contingent on signing up for auto-delivery or membership, and they take the money for those immediately.

there should be a telephone number listed on your statement. same as with credit card charges.
