Bank of America Complaint - Lost mortage payment
In 2003 we got a 30 year fixed rate (no subprime ARMs) from Countrywide. We never had a problem with our on-line bill pay and were always on time using a different bank. Then Bank of America took it over. In November 2009 they lost the payment. My bank has sent them proof, several times, that the money was transferred. For crying out loud it was an electronic transfer straight to the account, how can they loose it?? They won't apply the funds and I have been told repeatedly that "it is being researched" In the mean time they keep notifying me that I have a late payment. I have now closed out my savings and checking accounts and will here on out take my banking needs elsewhere. I'ld rather go to my local bookie for a loan, at least they'll give you some personal service.
