General Motors Complaint - Instrutment Cluster - 2004 Yukon
I have a 2004 Yukon with just over 147,000 miles on the odometer. I have driven GM products since 1950 and have always gotten anywhere from 250,0000 to 280,000 miles with little or no problems. I take care of my cars. My speedometer or instrument cluster has gone bad and it says I am going 100 to 130 miles per hour and going at least 70 when I am sitting still. I am told that an agreement was made to repair them up to 80 thousand miles but after that there is no help.
IF THIS PART IS KNOWN TO BE DEFECTIVE I DO NOT UNDERSTAND WHY GM WILL NOT TAKE CARE OF THE PROBLEM REGARDLESS OF THE MILAGE. I AM TOLD THAT IT WILL COST AROUND $400 TO $5OO DOLLARS TO FIX THE PROBLEM.
MY TRUST AND CONFIDENCE IN GM PRODUCTS IS ABOUT TO GO TO ZERO.
IF ANYONE ELSE IS HAVING THE SAME PROBLEM I HOPE YOU WILL PROTEST.
