Sears Complaint - Poorly designed Canister Vacuum Cleaner Handle
3 Days after the "1 year warranty" a plastic part inside the handle broke, which holds the operating switch. The vacuum would not turn on. Sears wanted to know nothing about the unit as it was "out of warranty". I disassembled the handle and found that the operating switch is designed, manufactured and assembled to simply sit "jammed in place" between the two piece plastic handle. The switch does not attach to anything, it just sits jammed in between the two piece handle. $40.00 later after ordering a new switch and entire new handle, I assembled it together and it is working now. I can see this being a problem again in the future and it appears to be poorly designed manufacturing flaw, in my opinion.
