Travelocity Complaint - Wanted to Use Them, They didn't want our business
We attempted to book a trip through Travelocity and after 4 unsuccessful attempts (it wouldn't process our credit card) we called customer service. They told us to create a account, so we did, and 4 more unsuccessful attempts later it still would not process our credit card. We went to bed thinking we would call Travelocity in the morning and try to pay that way. All we wanted to do was give them $3400.00 to go to Hawaii, should be simple. Well, we called and after being shuffled around we discovered that between midnight the night before and 8 am the price of our trip had gone up by $200. This was our first and last attempt at using Travelocity. AND THEN...we attempted to book our trip directly through the airline the following day but were shocked when our credit card was declined because Travelocity was holding $14,000.00 worth of charges from our failed attempts to book the previous night. Unreal!!
