DirecTV Inc Complaint - Where do I begin to complain about DirecTV?!?
CONWAY, ARKANSAS -- Ugh, I have had it with direcTV. They have the worst customer service ever! I signed up for it April 2009. The guy that came out and installed it sat on your couch for about an hour, cussed, and left his "spit cup" at my house. The only good thing he did, was give us a lot of extra slack in the cable so we could move the TV around. Me and my boyfriend moved in August and I called to get the FREE installation...(which is a joke), they told me it would be $50 for them to come out and install it at our new location because we haven't been with them long enough (even though the commercials on TV say nothing about that...it says FREE.) Well, after 3 different tries, he finally showed up...and didn't leave us a long enough cable. The TV can pretty much only be in one spot right now. I called direcTV to see if they could bring us a longer cable and after getting sent to 3 different people they told me "You can go by one yourself at Best Buy." Hmmmm, why is it so hard for them to just come out and give me extra slack in my cable? I am sure as hell paying enough for it.
I have always been on time with my payments. I tried to add a receiver in one of the bedrooms and they told me that "Do to your payment history, a $50 fee will be added to any purchases."
I am sick of dealing with them. When I call, they either send me to 100 different people or someone that doesn't speak English.
I think a 2 year contract is kind of ridiculous myself, I'm almost on a year now, I want to cancel it but I don't have the $400 to do so.
I would never recommend direcTV to anyone. Its just a huge scam.
